Review: Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

Hi everyone! I would like to begin this post by apologizing for my long time away from blogging. I'm not going to bore you all with the details, so today, I thought I would kick off my return to blogging with a review on the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder!

You can find the small size of this powder, which is the one I have, at the Sephora check-out line for $23. This small travel size has 9.3g, or 0.33 oz of product and comes with the signature Laura Mercier velour puff. As I'm sure that the both the full and travel sizes contain the same product, I'm going to jump straight into the review.

This broke me out. Badly. I don't know what it is that caused me to break out from this, but anytime that I wore it, it caused me to get quite a few under the skin bumps that eventually cleared away when I stopped using this powder. I was hoping that this powder would control my insanely oily skin, but it didn't hold up that much longer than my drugstore Covergirl Clean Oil Control pressed powder.

The puff is very soft and lovely against the skin, and this powder is what seems to be a cult favorite. I wanted this to work for me so much, but alas, my skin simply didn't like it.

Well, I hope that this review has helped some of you out if you're still on the fence about buying this. If you don't have acne-prone, sensitive, or extremely oily skin, you'll probably love this.

I have an entire slew of products that have been building up, as well as new skincare routine, so look out for at least two more new posts this week!

It's great to be back!
