10 Products I Regret Purchasing

Happy Sunday and welcome back to my blog for Day 12 of Daily Blogging! Today I have for you something other than a review - this will be a post on the products that I regret buying. I will preface this by saying that everyone has different skin, so what may not work for me, could still amazingly work for you. Without further ado, let's get into it! Regret #1: Lush Mask of Magnaminty I don't have a picture of this, because I opened it up the other day and saw that it was moldy. :( So I immediately tossed it out. I bought this a while ago in hopes that it would live up to its hype about how amazing it was for oily, acne prone skin. I used it a few times and noticed that while it left my skin ultra smooth from the physical exfoliation particles, it also broke me out! I noticed that I always had a new breakout the next morning, and since I didn't change anything else in my routines, it was definitely this. Also, the scent of it was unappealing to me as it was almos...

Summer Base Essentials

Hey everyone; I hope you're all doing well. As promised, I'm doing another post and today, I'm going to share with you all my summer foundation essentials. 1. Sunscreen: The best sunscreen that I have found is this CoTz Face sunscreen for lighter skin tones. It's a great primer that absorbs oil and protects your skin at the same time. This is a mineral sunscreen, meaning that the main ingredients consist of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. You can find this  here  for $19.99. I'll be doing an in-depth review on this sunscreen in a later post. 2. Foundation: The foundation that I have been wearing everyday this summer is the Nars All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation. I have this in the shade Fiji and Gobi. With this foundation, I don't even need a concealer because it has such great coverage. Since it's summer right now and I do have a bit of color, I'm using Fiji by itself. I will also be doing an in-depth review on this foundation in a post c...

Review: NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well! Today I have for you a review on the NARS Light Reflecting Setting Powder. I had never tried a NARS product before and was in desperate need of a powder since I was quickly running out of my bareMinerals Matte. With perfect timing, I received a $20 off of $50 email from Sephora, so I decided that it would be prime time to try out this powder, since it's quite pricey at $34. So, without further ado, let's get into my experience! As you can already tell from the picture above, the famous rubberized packaging that NARS has on many if not all of their products has picked up unwanted finger marks. I don't think I actually knew what other reviewers were complaining about regarding finger prints on the packaging until now that I've experienced them for myself. Aside from packaging, this is a setting powder, so the only shade for it is 'Translucent Crystal'. This is supposed to mattify the skin as well as give a glow...
