Hello and welcome to Day 7 of daily blogging! We've made it to a whole week of daily posts! I absolutely am loving putting up a post for all of you to read every single day. Today, I'm sharing with you a review on the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Baby Facial.
Without further ado, let's dive into the review!
Q: Where can I buy it?
A: Sephora stores, sephora.com, drunkelephant.com
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Full size: $80 USD; Mini duo: $25 USD
Q: How much do I get in one bottle?
A: Full size: 1.69 oz / 50 mL; Mini: 0.50 oz / 15 mL
Q: What's the packaging like?
A: This comes in a pump bottle with a very smooth and functional pump. It does have very aesthetically appealing packaging with the pink pump and the white bottle.
Q: Will it suit my skin?
A: If your skin is oily/combo and acne prone and you can handle acid exfoliation, then yes, this is most definitely for you. It does sting a little at first, so if you've never used acid exfoliation of any kind at all or have extremely sensitive skin, I would advise you to leave this mask on for no longer than 15 minutes and only to use it once a week, maximum until your skin gets used to it.
Q: Is the scent going to give me a headache?
A: Nope! It has a very slight scent that dissipates upon application and doesn't linger for the duration that you have the mask on.
Q: How do I use it?
A: Take around 1 to 1 1/2 pumps of this onto your fingers, then spread an even layer onto your dry skin (make sure your face is dry for this mask) once a week.
Q: When do I use it?
A: At night, once a week for 25 minutes, then I'll wash it off. I use this after cleansing and before my moisturizer. If I use this, I don't use any other types of acid exfoliation on my skin; I just follow this up with moisturizer.
Q: What are the ingredients?
A: Water, Glycolic Acid, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Glycerin, Sodium Hydroxide, Salicylic Acid, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Camellia Oleifera Leaf Extract, Lactobacillus/Pumpkin Ferment Extract, Lactobacillus/Punica Granatum Fruit Ferment Extract, Opuntia Ficus-Indica Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Silybum Marianum Seed Extract, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Juice Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Powder, Cicer Arietinum Seed Powder, Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil, Passiflora Edulis Seed Oil, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Sodium PCA, Allantoin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Dextrin, Polydextrose, Sorbitan Isostearate, Amylopectin, Niacinamide, Phytosphingosine, Lactic Acid, Propanediol, Citric Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Polysorbate 60, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol.

Q: What's the texture like?
A: It's very thick and a beige color. It smooths onto the skin with no issue and doesn't dry down like a clay mask. Instead, it remains shiny and pretty much just looks like a clear mask. On the skin, there is a bit of a stinging/warming sensation upon application, but that goes away a bit when you have the mask on.
Q: What're the pros?
A: This has a blend of 25% AHA and 2% BHA, both of which help cell turnover and reduce/treat acne. Since cells are turning over more quickly, acne scarring will fade faster and pores will become cleaner. I only use this about once a week in conjunction with my other masks and I've noticed that the morning after I use this, my skin is much softer and glows more. If I had any dry patches/flakes, they're gone the next morning. This might have actually broken me out a bit when I first started using it since I wasn't accustomed to acid exfoliation yet, but now, my skin is fine with this. It's very important to follow this up with either a good moisturizer or an oil. I got just the mini duo with this and the Marula oil (review coming soon!) for only $25 at Sephora and if you don't have a good, hydrating moisturizer or oil, then this is a great set to get because it gives you their oil.
Q: What are the cons?
A: None!
Q: Would I repurchase?
A: Yes! Once I finish this, I'll be repurchasing the larger size.
Conclusion: This is probably the closest you can get to a chemical peel without going to get a facial, so if you find that your skin has been dull, has unwanted texture, or you've been wanting to get rid of some old acne scarring, give this mask a try! I would of course patch test this if you have very sensitive skin, before using it all over your face. Since it's in a mini with their oil, that is a great set to try this out.
That's all for me today, so thank you all so much for reading. If you've tried this, let me know how you liked it by leaving me a comment below. I'll talk to you all again tomorrow with another post! :)
